I found out something about genetically modified produce.
A conventionally grown PLU would be 4446.
An organically grown PLU would be 94446.
And a genetically modified PLU would be 84446.
I knew the first two, but not the GMO prefix. Cool, but still yet freaky. By the way, this info was taken from Perfect Weight by Jordan Rubin.
